@ Eli, that anonymous poster...their first language is definitely not English! Maybe their third or fourth I tell you! Anyway I posted something in the LAX 601 and 602 post for you again . It was a response to your accent in English sounding Canadian. I also have a link to a commercial that shows some of the obvious differences between the USA and Canada. I hope that you've read it and watched the link, it's got some background on Canadian English. Isn't it funny that some of the Others claimed to be from Canada or were supposed to be on missions to Canada?

@ Betta, I like the new general look BUT I love the color blue. Blue is generally a color that puts one in an extremely good mood. I like the peach as well BTW. As a guy, I have very good taste so I still like what I see!
Beta, one more thing I remember when we used to call someone who was hot a fox or foxy " back in the day" so to speak. A flood of great memories comes back when I hear that nickname you have for Mr Fox ! :)

The irony is that they do say a-boot! They deny it BUT it sure as hell sounds like it. It's like how the New Zealanders pronounce fish and chips as fush and chups!!And Australians pronounce it as feesh and cheeps!??? Kiwis(NZers) deny they say it that way BUT they do. The Canadians are the same about "about"! A chesterfield is an American cigarette. We call it a couch or a sofa as you know. Canucks use chesterfield for sofa after some snobby British earl or some such! Remember the US has been a republic since 1776 continually so royal terminology is somewhat frowned upon!;)
Betta a lot of so-called American shows are produced in Canada. Have you seen the new Battlestar Galactica yet? You can hear the Candian accents there even though most of the actors are Yanks. The prequel to BSG called Caprica just started here in the US. Once again it is produced in Canada with Yanks, two Brit actors in the cast so you can hear some of the Canuck accent too.
Do you watch 24? Kiefer Sutherland is a Canuck! They are everywhere. William Shatner, Pamela Anderson, Evie Lilly etc so on!
